The Northern New England Chapter of the Solid Waste Assn of North America announces a scholarship for students who have been accepted into and are committed to a degree closely tied to Solid Waste Management, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field of study.

Journalism Education Foundation of New England

Once again this year, the Journalism Education Foundation of New England will award a number of $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and college students in our six-state region who plan to pursue a career in journalism. This is a wonderful program that encourages and supports those who will staff and lead our news organizations into the next generation.

  

Interested students can download the scholarship application from our New England Newspaper & Press Association website www.nenpa.com or by clicking the links at the bottom of this email. The deadline for applications is March 9, 2018.

 

ME Council for Elder Abuse Prevention Scholarship

GFWC Maine and Maine Council for Elder Abuse Prevention are offering a scholarship to be awarded to a Maine graduate who will be attending college or a certification program as a full time student.  A winner will be selected from each county.

Commissary Scholarship

Defense Commissary Agency - Scholarships for Military Children will be giving at least one $2000 scholarship per Commissary to qualified applicants.  Applicant must be a dependent of an active duty, retired or survivor of a US service member.
